Jubilee Theme Night – Saturday 4th June

jubilee
With events being planned both nationwide and locally, we thought it would be the perfect time to host our first theme night.

So the theme is based on the following options related to the other events taking place.
Feel free to come dressed in anything with links to the Queen or the wider Royal family, Queen the rock band or dress in anything red, white or blue or a combination of all!
As a family we are really looking forward to hosting our first of many theme nights.
Feel free to to message us here or on our Facebook Page if you have any ideas to either make this night better or for future theme nights.
Stay safe all,
Tim, Sarah, Chris and Sheelagh x

Update on events and changes – October 2021

update
We are hosting the closing party for the campsite on Saturday 16th October 2021 and so will not be opening the restaurant that day.
We have now placed QR code notices at the entrance and would like to remind all customers that you have a legal responsibility to either scan the QR code on entry or if you don’t have the app (Check in Scotland) you must fill in your details on arrival on the form available inside.
Mask’s must still be worn when entering the hotel.
As the tourist season closes we have decided that we will also be reducing our trading hours in reflection of the reduction in customers.
We remind all our new friends and customers that we have put our life savings into taking over the hotel and fully intend to make it both successful and remain a hub for the community but are equally practical that we can’t afford to staff and heat the restaurant and bar if there are no customers.

Our revised opening hours will be:

  • Thursday – 6pm – 11pm
  • Friday – 11am – 3pm and 6pm – 00.00
  • Saturday – 11am – 3pm and 6pm – 00.00

  • Sunday – 11am – 3pm and 6pm – 11pm
  • Last orders in the restaurant is 2.30pm and 8.30pm.
We will continue to monitor communication and ensure that we remain flexible in our hours to meet the needs of our valued customers.
We fully intend to of course significantly increase our opening hours during the tourism season.
Any changes in our trading hours will be given in a post update.
Please feel free to message us, or pop in and see us if you wish to discuss our opening hours or indeed if you would like to enquire about private function hire for days when we are not open.
Once again thanks for your support and understanding, I hope the community is happy with the way we are running the hotel and we continue to look forward to serving you all.
Best regards,
Tim, Sarah, Chris and Sheelagh
